SoulForce was booked to perform at some elementary schools recently as part of an arts integration program. The program seems to be great at teaching kids about dance choreography and the arts. Beforehand, I showed a dvd of the exact pieces that SoulForce would perform , but as you can imagine, after seeing the pieces perform live, some of the teachers/parents had issues.
Many issues...
Some of them seemed understandable but most were ridiculous. Its been an interesting journey having this experience because we really have enjoyed performing for these kids.
Tomorrow is our last performance and it is bittersweet. We plan to enjoy ourselves with a final bang!
Then on to our next performance... SF Hip Hop DanceFest Baby! We are in program B!!
