So folks, heres the deal. Its regarding using volunteers for your projects. It seems like a great idea and usually the people who offer to volunteer their services mean well. HOWEVER... you just can not depend on them as if they were paid for their services. Its just the way it is. So if you want to be sure that shit is going to get done and that the people working are going to be more responsible for what they are doing, ... pay them!

Yep.. it's the voice of experience for sure. I hope this isn't coming from some recent disappointment (but I suspect it is :-( ).
