Every Year the Isadora Duncan Dance Awards Committee presents the Bay Area Dance Awards, The "Izzies". "The Isadora Duncan Dance Awards Committee seeks to honor local dance artists and promote their visibility, primarily by acknowledging outstanding achievements within a twelve-month period of performances."This year I will be a presenter of one of the awards (don't know which one yet). I am looking forward to it. In 2006 the SF Hip Hop DanceFest received an special "Izzie" award for "producing this pioneering event dedicated to the innovation and evolution of Hip Hop choreography and performance".
The event is FREE so come on by and support your girl...
